First Post: bikini kill REVOLUTION GIRL STYLE NOW.

Last night i was listening to Bikini KILL, my husband walked in and heard it and IMMEDIANTLY replied just like ANY stupid person would ''that music sucks'' and then he starts singing the same tune as Rebel grrl
 ''i suck i make up words as i go along, i cant play the guitar''
I looked at him and yelled ''SHUT THE FUCK UP!!  that was the WHOLE point of PUNK ROCK'' and as I went on i realized that I couldn't even defend my LOVE for punk because I was stumbling over all of my words.


So, here I am with my blog to educate you people who look twice just because the music sound DIFFERENT.
Who roll your eyes and you don't bother to open your mind.

BIKINI KILL

In 1990 a Revolution slowly began in Washington with the Lyrics and screams of a young woman named Kathleen Hanna, a wild guitarist named Billy Karren, the pound f the drums- drummer Tobi Vail and the strums of the bassist  Kathi Wilcox. Bikini Kill was the FACE of girl revolution. They turned down all major labels and yelled FUCK you to the disgusting gender roles that had been placed on women.

why Bikini Kill is PART of the punk noise..the Lyrics are simple but strong and left a fine dent on the hearts and minds of men and women alike.
